Vanilla is a material transformed by time and warmth. Its softness is shaped by cure, depth, resin, wood, and the darker edges of sweetness. In this Study, creamy vanilla forms the body, but it is held under pressure by tonka and oud, then warmed through butterscotch and bourbon.

The result is rich without becoming confectionary. The sweetness remains, but it does not stand alone. It is joined by smoke-like warmth, darkened wood, boozy amber, and the feeling of cream held near flame.

Planifolia is vanilla remembered through heat and shadow.
