Refund policy

RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND REPLACEMENTS

House1125 creates goods for the body and the home. Because of the nature of these products, returns are handled with care, clarity, and hygiene in mind.

All Sales Final on Opened or Used Products

For safety, hygiene, and product integrity, we do not accept returns on any opened, used, burned, tested, or applied products.

This includes:

  • candles that have been lit or burned

  • body oils that have been opened or used

  • body butters that have been opened or used

  • any product that has been altered after delivery

Return Eligibility for Unused Items

We may accept returns on unused, unopened, and undamaged items in their original packaging if requested within [7–14 days] of delivery.

To request a return, contact steward@House1125.com with:

  • your order number

  • the item(s) you wish to return

  • the reason for return

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for approved return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

  • a damaged item

  • an incorrect item sent by House1125

  • a verified fulfillment error on our part

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the order arrived damaged or incorrect.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Please allow [5–10 business days] after approval for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.

Replacements

However, if any of the items sent do not conform to your order, or should the items be defective, they will be replaced and the return costs will be paid by House1125.

If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, we will review the matter and, when appropriate, offer a replacement or refund.

Claims for damaged or incorrect orders must be submitted within [3–5 days] of delivery and must include photo documentation.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund unless damaged or incorrect on arrival:

  • opened candles

  • burned candles

  • opened body care products

  • gift cards

  • sale items or marked final sale items

  • limited releases, unless damaged or incorrect

Candle Performance

Candles are a ritual object and a performance product. To maintain the Standard, please follow all care instructions provided on the vessel, packaging, and site.

Issues related to tunneling, uneven burning, or soot may result from wick length, draft exposure, shortened burn sessions, or other environmental factors. We are always happy to offer guidance, but these issues do not automatically qualify for refund or replacement.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused or returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, we may issue a refund for the item value only, less original shipping costs and any return shipping charges assessed to us.
